Women's Chorus

Mona Kreitner, Conductor

Rhodes Women’s Chorus was founded by Dr. Diane Clark, and has been under the direction of Dr. Mona Kreitner since 2003. Under her leadership the Chorus has participated regularly in fall and spring Choral Showcase concerts and the annual Christmas at St. Mary’s, performing their own repertoire and collaborating with the Rhodes Singers. The Chorus has also enjoyed collaborations with adult and children’s choirs from Grace-St. Luke’s, St. George’s, Holy Apostles, and Holy Communion Episcopal churches, as well as the University of Memphis Collegium Musicum. Among their collaborative efforts are the “Benjamin Britten Birthday Bash” at Holy Apostles in April of 2013 and a joint concert earlier this month with the Collegium Musicum. The Women’s Chorus has been privileged to participate in master classes with noted American composers Stephen Paulus and Libby Larsen, and with internationally acclaimed recording artists Anonymous 4.
