About Us

Our Mission

Greek Life transforms lives by supporting and facilitating opportunities and experiences within the Greek community to discover, engage, and learn while fostering an environment for peer accountability and lifelong friendships.

Our Vision

Greek Life strives to develop a community that enables individuals to achieve the highest standards of personal integrity and civic engagement for leadership in a global society.

Our Greek Community

College can be so much more than just classes and homework, It is a time for growth and development. Greek Life can foster the education of the whole person: intellectually, socially and spiritually.
Brotherhood and Sisterhood, Leadership, Philanthropy, and Scholarship are but a few of the areas in which the Greek Community at Rhodes aspires to achieve excellence. Involvement in community service is central to the Rhodes Experience. Over 80% of students participate in Philanthropic efforts and the Greek community is no different.

Brotherhood & Sisterhood

There is a sense of unity and friendship among members of an individual chapter, as well as among everyone in the same organization across the nation. The bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood are forged throughout the member's active participation in the chapter and last for a lifetime.

Greeks on campus are highly involved in student leadership positions, both inside and out of the Greek community. Membership in Greek organizations provides excellent opportunities to get involved, assume responsibility, and develop leadership skills.

Rhodes Greeks contribute many hours each semester to philanthropies and service projects. The opportunities to help others are endless, and opportunities to support worthy causes are endless. Some of their philanthropies include Arthritis Research, Girl Scouts of the USA, Make-A-Wish, Muscular Dystrophy Association, and St. Jude Children’s
Research Hospital.

Academic Achievement

At Rhodes, one of the most important aspects of Greek Life is scholarship. Good scholarship is a prerequisite to becoming an initiated member of a Greek organization. Greeks at Rhodes have consistently proven their academic abilities by recognition and involvement in campus honor societies, and many have higher than average GPA among their members.
