General Description of Position:
The studio technician is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the drawing, painting and sculpture studios located in Clough Hall. This position responds to the requests of the art studio professors and the visual resources curator and is responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing studios for classes, organizing and inventorying supplies, assisting with EPA compliance and safety procedures, photographing and handling student artwork, and other duties as requested by faculty.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in art studios required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Art majors and minors are preferred. Should be good at working independently and have excellent organization and communication skills.
Physical Demands:
Student will be required to lift and move materials, equipment and artwork. Student will be required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
