Every October and November, we start posting the next summer's Off-Campus Study Programs on the Rhodes Online Portal. It's easy to search for Rhodes summer programs: simply go to the Online Portal, click "PROGRAMS," and type "Rhodes" in the search box. You will find the complete list of currently posted Rhodes programs there. It's a good idea to keep checking through the end of November to be sure you have seen the complete list.
Plan Ahead! Complete applications must include a $300 non-refundable deposit payable by check. Start planning now to submit an early application - the scholarship application for summer need-based aid closes on December 1. Most Rhodes summer programs are conducted on a rolling admission basis and may close before the application deadline (February 15). Early submission (before December 1) is strongly encouraged. Costs estimates are based on a minimum number of applicants and most do not include international airfare.
Need-Based Study Abroad Scholarship Application Process for SUMMER:
- The scholarship application CLOSES on December 1.
- We will consider your scholarship application if BOTH your Need-Based Scholarship application (found HERE) AND your Off-Campus Study Application for the Summer Program are complete.

Safety and Security Abroad
These are particularly challenging times, given the world situation. It is important to us that you understand what we do to enhance the safety of our students and staff. We survey information from a host of resources including government agencies, international organizations, and our own network of contacts.
In the case of a crisis situation emerging in a location where Rhodes students are or will be taking part in College-sanctioned international activities, Rhodes will strive to make an informed and rational decision on continuing or cancelling the international program in question in consultation with all relevant parties according to a mutually agreed timeframe.
