The STEM Cohort Mentoring Program is an affinity-based mentoring program that centers Black and African American cultural values. Students in the STEM Cohort Mentoring Program are pursuing careers in STEM research, health professions and STEM education. Student scholars in the STEM Cohort participate in the "The Stoddard Model College Student Mentoring Structure" to help student scholars leverage their gifts, personal strengths, and talents to draw out their potential. At Rhodes, we understand that creating space for different student identities is essential to thriving on a predominately White campus.
