Ethnographic/Funds of Knowledge Project

A researcher learns in depth about families/communities in order to design instruction that draws on children’s linguistic and cultural strengths.  

This study requires IRB approval.

Teacher-researchers did home visits to learn about their students better and developed lessons based on families’ strengths and knowledge.
