Ashley Dill (‘17, Urban Studies Major, Film Studies Minor) landed a job with William Morris Endeavor, one of the largest record companies in Nashville. Dill was an RSAP (student associate) for the Curb Institute, in charge of a lot of the business aspects of the Institute, including PR and Marketing. She was heavily involved in the production of The Audubon Sessions. She helped book the artists for the show and worked with Alexandra Greenway to air the show on public arts television through the NECAT Network in Nashville.
Alexandra Greenway (‘17, Theater Major) is interning at Turner Classic Movies. Greenway was a leader of the video team with the Curb Institute and was in charge of filming and artistic direction for the The Audubon Sessions. She worked with Dill to edit and prepare The Audubon Sessions episodes to air on public arts television through NECAT.
Richard Sherrell (‘17, Music Major) is working in Chicago at an arts start up, where he is hoping to establish a recording studio. Sherrell was a member of the Audio Team and did a lot of creative work on campus as an audio engineer and composer of original music. He composed the soundtrack for the Theater Department’s production of Candide performed in the fall of 2016.
Riley McCormick (‘17, Music Major) has gone on to graduate school at the University of Denver to get her masters in public administration and hopes to focus on music and arts administration. Riley was a member of the Video Team. She also wrote original music for her senior recital, some of which she recorded in Harris Lodge with Rhodes musicians Mackenzie Cohen (‘17), Jolie-Grace Wareham (‘17), and Curb Fellow Alice Fugate (‘18).
Phoebe Driscoll (‘15, English Major, Film Studies Minor) has returned to her home state of California to work in Los Angeles. Driscoll was one of the first Curb Fellows to work on the video side of what used to be called An Evening at Elvis’ and was recently changed to The Audubon Sessions. She continued to help produce The Audubon Sessions after she graduated in 2015. The Institute will miss her creative insight and direction in the Institute’s work.
Richard Sherrell and Brad McCollough (‘17, Music Major) are a part of a band comprised of Rhodes students called The Flying V’s. This summer they released an EP of some of their original music entitled “But We Were Just Getting Started” on Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, and Soundcloud (https://soundcloud.com/the-flying-vs/sets/but-we-were-just-getting).
