General Description of Position:
Admission is seeking to hire a Rhodes Student Associate who can play a significant role in the College’s recruitment of Latinx and multicultural students. This role will include translation of admission materials into Spanish, providing tours and information sessions in Spanish, and coordinating engagement and outreach to Latinx students, families, and Community Based Organizations. This position will play an important role in collaborative discussions with our multicultural team and planning and execution of special events. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and have a passion for working with underrepresented students and families as they navigate their post-graduate paths. Regular office hours will be assigned based on candidate’s availability but some evening and weekend work could be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Rhodes student. Fluent in Spanish. Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
Organized, self-starter, good time management skills, works independently, able to correspond professionally, good communication skills
