Summer Student Employment - Masters of Arts in Urban Educ (MUE)

Immediate Supervisor: Arlinda Fair

Office Location: Burrow Hall 101

General Description of Position:

Reporting to the Program Coordinator of the Master of Arts in Urban Education program, the student employee will provide support in the following areas:

  • Help with the implementation of various marketing and recruitment initiatives
  • Provide support with onboarding new incoming cohort, specifically the orientation program
  • Provide support with outgoing cohort, specifically exit interviews
  • Assist with all program-related events (event planning, set-up, on-site registration)
  • General office responsibilities, including data entry, copying, filing

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, manage projects and deadlines; solution oriented
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; confident speaking about program features
  • Administrative or customer service experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Physical Demands:

General office environment. Occasional light lifting of boxes and travel across campus.
