The Sally Becker Grinspan Award for Artistic Achievement annually honors a single work of art from the Senior Thesis Exhibition of art majors. Essentially the “Best in Show” as juried by department faculty and outside critics, award recipients demonstrate a level of mastery in the selection of media and command of materials; the fusion of process and content; presentation; and an overall search for excellence. This award honors Ms. Grinspan's legacy and a lifelong appreciation of visual art and design.
