Job Description

·Work with Information Services staff to create an entertaining podcast that preserves the story of Rhodes College.
·Propose research topic ideas.
·Create a narrative answering the research question using archival and primary source materials.  Work with Rhodes College and other area archivists.  Interview people with connection to or information about the topic.
·Present the well-researched story in an engaging way to the podcast host.
·Answer questions regarding their research experience
·Assemble an online digital collection of images in an open source content management system that can be linked in the podcast show notes. (see archives.rhodes.edu for examples)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous hands-on historical or archival research.
Ability to use facts and historical context to weave an interesting and compelling narrative
Comfortable speaking on a microphone
