Approach to Therapy

Seeking support to meet personal goals is a monumental step in achieving the future that you visualize for yourself. Recognizing the motivation, strength, and even courage that it takes to seek support for your own personal growth, I aspire to creating an environment in which all clients feel heard, secure, supported, and equipped to face life in the most fulfilling way possible. I ascribe to a client centered approach. Knowing that everyone’s needs, goals, values, and strengths vary greatly, I customize therapeutic interactions and interventions to meet your identified needs.

Approach to Wellness

Overall wellness is dependent on our needs being met and growth occurring in various areas of life, including mental, emotional, physical, social, spiritual, and financial health. Wellness is a result of our lifestyles which means that sometimes we’re excelling, sometimes we’re just coasting along, and sometimes we have setbacks. All of these are natural because components of our lives are everchanging.  I believe that if we want to improve our wellness, we must become aware of any areas of potential growth in our lives, consider how we would ideally like to experience those areas, and begin to take steps in those directions.

Approach to Fun

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, skating, puzzles and brainteasers, camping, swimming, spending time with family and friends, learning languages, and playing board games. I also occasionally enjoy doing canvas paintings, coloring, and drawing.
