General Description of Position:
The SE@R/RSAP Hiring Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the hiring processes for both the Student Employment (SE@R) and Rhodes Student Associate (RSAP) programs. This includes:
 

Event Management
● Involvement Fair
● Fall Study Break – Stickers
● Transitioning Your Position Seminar
● Application Interest Sessions
● Oversee SEAW with Events Specialist
● Study breaks and tabling
● Training for new RSAs in fall on Zoom / recording / Canvas Quiz
Manage Hiring Process
● Prep for applications and manage Sites
● Topdesk
● Manage waitlist of students with need and without
Working With and Leading All Student Employees in Financial Aid
● Schedule weekly meetings
● Weekly checklist in the office
● Communicating heavily with supervisors and students
● Collecting job descriptions from supervisors and posting them on the jobs site (for RSAP, Fall, and Summer hiring seasons)
● Working with the RSAP committee to process proposals for new RSAP positions
● Managing the hiring of incoming freshmen awarded work study in the fall
● Eligibility checks for students
● Processing Request to Hires
● Coordinating with supervisors about re-hiring students at the end of the academic year
● Managing the Community Service Student Employment Program
● Meeting weekly with the RSAP team
Event Management & Hiring Support
● Planning and executing key events such as involvement fairs, study breaks, and
seminars
● Overseeing training sessions for new RSAs via Zoom, recordings, and Canvas quizzes
● Managing application processes and waitlists using the Sites platform and Topdesk
● Leading and supporting all student employees within Financial Aid through weekly
meetings and office checklists
 

Minimum Qualifications:
● Impeccable communication skills
● Ability to abide by confidentiality agreements
● Highly organized
 

Preferred Qualifications:
● Available to occasionally work outside of regular business hours
 

Physical Demands:
● Long periods of sitting and working at a computer
