General Description of Position:
This position will report directly to the athletic trainers in the athletic training room. The student in this position will be a direct liaison between the other student-workers and the athletic training staff.

  • Assist in treatment and care of student athletes 
  • Work with Sports Medicine staff during games 
    • Fall Semester: Football 
    • Spring Semester: Men’s Lacrosse 
    • Potential to work with other sports if desired 
  • Prepare practice and game locations including tapings and venue setup 
  • Assist staff with other duties as assigned 
  • Simple inventory of products on a weekly basis 

Minimum Qualifications

  •  CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen certified
    • Certification provided if needed
  • Flexible schedule that will allow for weekend and night work
  • Arrive on campus in early August to assist with pre-season practices 
  • Option to work over winter break 
  • Availability to work some weekends

Physical Demands 
Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
Physical requirements for this position include, but are not limited to: running, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, sitting on the floor, getting up and down from the floor, and using/teaching rehabilitation equipment
