Job Description

Be right next to the action in game operations as the Lynx look to bring home their fourth straight SAA Commissioner’s Cup.

 

Sports Info workers manage all aspects of an NCAA DIII game including in-game statistics, running the scoreboard, producing a live video broadcast of each game, PA announcing, photography, social media, and website and record maintenance.

 

All Sports Information employees are required to work home games throughout the year. Office hours can be provided for student-athletes in their off-seasons as needed.

 

Students will work various positions based on talent/interest and for multiple sports, depending on the needs of that weekend.

  • Taking statistics in-game
  • Scoreboard Operator
  • Videographer
  • Live Stream Producer
  • Photographer
  • Social Media
  • Interviewer
  • Shot Clock Operator (basketball, lacrosse)
  • In-Game Music Entertainer
  • Play-by-Play for live broadcasts

Required Qualifications

  • Weekend Availability
  • Reliable
  • Versatile
  • Good Communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer someone with high school managerial experience
  • Dependable
  • Took game stats in high school
  • Demonstrated sports photography
  • Videography
  • Good organization skills
  • Strong clerical skills

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 25-30 pounds
  • Every employee must help set up and take down equipment before/after games

Pay rate: 8.25 - 8.85
