General Description of Position:
This student associate will work closely with the Director of Education Abroad and the Study Abroad Leadership team to disseminate information about funding and costs related to study abroad. The students associate assists in advising and preparing students applying for Buckman Fellowships, Gilman, and other scholarships related to studying abroad. The Student Associate will also work closely with the Bursar, the Financial Aid Office, and other relevant offices on marketing, programming, assessment, and surveys that will help the Buckman Center educate students on the opportunities to fund study abroad. Finally, the RSA is responsive for updating our live spreadsheet that contains up to date information with travel related costs not typically covered by program fees such as public transportation and visa related costs.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Rhodes student. Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Study Abroad Experience while at Rhodes
Self-starter with excellent time management skills
Enjoys working with and presenting information to people
Detail oriented
Buckman Fellowship Finalist of Buckman Fellowship Awardee
Physical Demands
Long periods of sitting at a computer. No heavy lifting.
