General Description
Gallery Attendants are responsible for the general condition of the gallery space and the safety of the art in it. Students open and close the gallery with the assistance of Campus Safety, complete daily quality and cleanliness checks, and maintain a constant presence in the gallery during open hours. They observe gallery visitors to ensure that the art is safe and answer general questions about the gallery. Occasional light housekeeping (such as dusting and vacuuming) and gallery preparations (such as painting pedestals) are required.

Physical Demands
Sitting at a desk during the duration of shift, as well as occasional housekeeping duties such as vacuuming.
Pay rate: 8.25 - 8.85 per hour
