General Description of Position:
This position provides support in planning, implementation and execution of Homecoming/Reunion Weekend. Primary responsibilities are: attending planning meetings, assembling assets for use and promotion of Homecoming/Reunion activities including building web pages for individual class sites, promoting registration utilizing emails and social media, creating slideshows of photographs for attendees to enjoy, and assembly and detail during the weekend of Homecoming/Reunion. The student associate will research best practices from peer and competitor institutions regarding their Homecoming/Reunion Weekend.
Additionally this position will oversee the stewardship process for all donor funded scholarships, internships and fellowships distributed by the Study Abroad office, Career Services and the Fellowships office. Responsibilities include implementing a process ensuring the recipient complies with the stewardship requirements of their award and compiles data detailing the student experience to guarantee the donor receives timely, accurate and meaningful reports. The position requires record collection and maintenance, establishing and maintaining communication with scholarship recipients and offices of Study Abroad, Career Services and Fellowships, creation of donor packets to include updated communications regarding recipients, student letters and photos. Additionally the position will update the website with stewardship highlights, and work with Study Aboard to create a blog.

Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position should be enthusiastic about the College and working with our alumni. They should have strong organizational and communication skills, a creative mindset and the ability to work both independently and with others. In addition, they should have an interest in utilizing social media and helping to broaden our social media campaign and database, providing innovative ideas for promotion of Homecoming/Reunion Weekend.
Physical Demands:
In both preparation and implantation of Homecoming/Reunion Weekend, the position will require some heavy lifting of boxes and items, moving heavy objects and walking throughout campus in assembly of reunion events.
