General Description of Position:
The Fellowships Program student associate works closely with the Director of Fellowships in order to collect and track information about specific fellowship opportunities, to organize this information within various spreadsheet and database files, and to analyze data sets to help determine best practices for experiential education at Rhodes. The RSA also works as a liaison between the Director of Fellowships, fellowship advisers and participants, and partners (both on- and off-campus) to increase awareness of the program’s opportunities and requirements. Some of these liaison duties involve direct communication with various individuals, but interaction through the program’s Rhodes Express site is also very important
Minimum Qualifications
Good communication skills, facility with Excel and Outlook, a professional demeanor to interface with a variety of personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with statistics, surveys, and/or website design.
Physical Demands:
None, though the ability to help set up rooms for presentations, workshops, and information sessions is preferred.
