General Description of Position:
*Health Education and Mental Health Education and programming. Assist with the planning and evaluation of programs such as flu shots, dermatology skin clinic and sack fair etc. Assist with mental health programs such as mental health awareness, stress reduction, stigma reduction and emotional resilience.
*Contact speakers, physicians, technicians and schedule program dates and locations
*Advertise events through flyers, health and mental health center web pages, student affair emails
*Order necessary supplies or event handouts
*Develop file of participants
*Notify campus safety of events scheduled
*Date Collection and Input – Assist with inputting updated insurance records into fileserver for campus emergencies/residence life/administrator on call
*Student Health/Counseling Liason – Promote awareness of services, programs, events offered at the health/counseling centers at refractory or other high visibility areas
*Assist with office duties as needed – prepare forms for students and make copies
Minimum Qualifications
Complete two years as a Rhodes College student
Preferred Qualifications
*Demonstrates artistic or creative skills
*Able to work independently
*Dependable
*Technical skills
*Experience in office duties and equipment (copier, fax, scanner, computer, phone)
Physical Demands: any heavy lifting, moving heavy objects or long periods of sitting or standing. Make sure your job description is as ADA friendly as possible. Does your job require maneuvering of stairs or other unique physical requirements?
