General Description of Position:


Coordinates three aspects of the Model United Nations (MUN) Program at Rhodes by providing logistical and planning support to the MUN team & the Mid-South Model United Nations conference and functioning as the teacher’s assistant for IS 133 (Model United Nations). The MUN Coordinator also plans and selects the team trips to various Model United Nations conferences. In addition, the RSA works closely with the director of the certificate in international migration studies program to collect relevant data tracking student progress and project task completion, coordinates and supports meetings and workshops relevant to the certificate, and performs substantive duties related to the program.

Minimum Qualifications


Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite
            Extensive public speaking experience

Preferred Qualifications


International Studies Major (or bridge thereof)
Model United Nations Experience (or familiarity with parliamentary procedure)
Travel Planning Experience
Demonstrated Organizational Capacity
