General Description of Position:

Helpdesk Assistants answer library and information services questions by phone, email, and in person.  They also maintain equipment (mostly printers) in Barret Library.  All helpdesk workers get on-the-job training.

Minimum Qualifications:

Good customer service skills on the phone, or a willingness to learn these skills; ability to listen well and take a good message.

Preferred Qualifications:

General knowledge of either Mac or PC computers, like using web browsers, Microsoft Word, or other common software and apps.
