Job Description

The student office assistant role in the operation of the Development Office is very important. Student Assistants provide the crucial support staff role that enables the office to effectively and efficiently provide services to students, faculty, alumni, donors, friends and prospective donors. Therefore, it is extremely important that the Development Office Assistant student employees act responsible and perform their jobs in a professional manner. The Development Office Assistant will prepare mass mailing – stuff, stamp, seal – run campus errands – make copies – answering telephone – maintain organized work area – assist with special events – must be able to work independently.

Required Education

Continuing student at Rhodes College.

Required Qualifications  
Preferred Qualifications

Dependable, ability to work with little supervision, basic computer skills, patience to perform repetitive task, good attitude and pleasant personality, pleasant phone manner, ability to work closely with a variety of personalities, willingness to treat position as a REAL JOB, and ability to learn quickly and handle a variety of responsibilities.
