Job Description

The student selected will provide support to the International Studies office faculty and staff and will work under the supervision of the Departmental Assistant, Elizabeth Houck.

Job Duties Include:

  • Photocopying
  • Data entry
  • Mail distribution
  • Printing and assembling documents
  • Creating posters and flyers for department events
  • Making deliveries around campus
  • Assisting with maintenance of bulletin boards
  • Organizing files
Required Education

Continuing student at Rhodes College.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Student MUST check his/her Rhodes email daily because assignments are often made via email
  • Ability to work independently with accurate and timely results
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be punctual and dependable, showing up for work on time when scheduled
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to use library resources for basic research
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to make frequent daily trips across campus, sit for long periods of time, do repetitive tasks such and folding brochures or stuffing envelopes, and climb on a small step-stool to hang flyers
