Dr. Hasselle presented her findings from a meta-analysis examining the effect of school-based DBT skills programs on adolescents’ positive and negative psychosocial outcomes. This study highlights the potential for school-based DBT skills programs to promote adolescent wellbeing, but effects are highly variable across studies. Thus, the project calls for more research to better understand the conditions under which school-based DBT programs have a positive impact.
