Betty Gilow, Untitled

Vertical yellow, red, white, and black cardboard cylinders are positioned in a long horizontal line

This is a cardboard sculpture constructed by Betty Gilow in 1980. Gilow was hired as a part-time instructor of art for the 1981-82 academic year at Rhodes College. She retired from Rhodes in the spring of 1994. She presented her work in the Clough-Hanson Gallery on two separate occasions: once in 1981 with her paintings and drawings, and again in 1991 at an exhibition entitled Color Sense.
