First Year Mentoring Program
- The HPA Student Ambassadors' spring mentorship program is open to interested first-year students. The HPA Ambassadors will host 2-3 individual or small group check-ins throughout the semester.
- These sessions offer an excellent opportunity to discuss topics such as gaining clinical experience, exploring research, volunteer, or leadership opportunities, selecting a major, preparing for classes and entrance exams, and addressing any other pre-health questions you may have.

2026 Orthopaedic Summer Internship
- This is an opportunity for three (3) current college students, preferably rising juniors and seniors.
- The program will run June 15-July 24, 2026.
- The program offers camaraderie and development among the participants; mentorship by current and future orthopaedic surgeons, healthcare professionals, and executives; and exposure to the operative, clinical, and business components of medicine. In addition, the opportunities to network include introductions and interaction with executives and physicians representing various healthcare institutions and industry-leading companies. Interns will also study orthopaedic conditions with university research teams.

Baptist Summer Scholars

NYU Project Healthcare – Summer Volunteer Program
- Project Healthcare (PHC) is offered in Manhattan at NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue, and in Brooklyn at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. PHC volunteers are given the opportunity to explore the reality of a career in medicine by providing patient support by carrying out such tasks as talking with patients, supporting them, making phone calls on their behalf, monitoring their length of stay, and helping their emotional and physical wellness within the purview of a volunteer.
