Great American Smokeout

According to the American Cancer Society, more than 16 million Americans are living with a smoking-related disease. Clearly, something needs to change, and the Great American Smokeout is committed to decimating this statistic by encouraging a tobacco-free future. In conjunction with the Shelby County Health Department, Rhodes College will be hosting its First Annual Great American Smokeout in the Refectory on Thursday, November 21st from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This event will encourage the entire campus community to strive for a healthy lifestyle, providing a time and place to openly discuss the impacts of tobacco use and supplying resources that will assist the effort to stop using tobacco-related products. Support the campus community in its pursuit of a healthier future by stopping by our table for free buttons, t-shirts, and more! Click HERE for more information about the Great American Smokeout.
