Lawrence "Lon" Anthony, "Walking Men"

This is steel statue of seven men walking on a wood base. The men are elongated and are composed tightly together, each looking very similar to each other.

"Walking Men," also known "Scholars," is a sculpture by Lawrence "Lon" Anthony made of steel with a wood and dates from 1969. Anthony worked at Rhodes as an artist-in-residence and as an assistant professor from 1961 to 1996.
