The Barret Liaison program has been established to strengthen the partnership in research and lifelong learning between academic departments and Barret information professionals. Each academic department and program has a liaison assigned. The liaison program aims to
- Seek departmental input in collection development
- Provide research consultation to faculty and students
- Work collaboratively with faculty to manage access to scholarly literature
- Teach information fluency and solid research skills to students
