The Center for Career & Professional Development offer several opportunities to recruit Rhodes talent on our beautiful campus. 

Beyond Rhodes

A one-of-a-kind recruiting event during the fall semester designed to connect all majors with a wide range of opportunities beyond graduation. The event will attract students looking for full-time roles and internships across industries, gap year opportunities, and graduate and professional school programs.

Industry Specific Events

• Meet the Firms (September): An opportunity for recruiters representing the accounting and finance industries to recruit our students for internships and jobs.
• Creative Careers Connection Fair (November): A “reverse career fair” that allows our students to showcase their artwork for employers in order to make connections and secure internships and job opportunities.

Spring Career Expo

The Spring Career Expo will provide exposure to students from all Rhodes departments and programs, providing the most comprehensive visibility for your organization.

Career Chats in the Rat

Reserving an information table in the Rat puts your organization in front of students during their lunch break. Table chats allow you to showcase organization materials and provide you with the opportunity to increase brand awareness on campus. Contact us to schedule a Chat.

On-Campus Interviews

The Center for Career & Professional Development can arrange on-campus interviews for your organization. We work with you to arrange your schedule and provide you with a private interview room in which to interview candidates. We assist in targeting candidates that fit your recruiting needs and promote your visit through our weekly email newsletter, targeted emails, and social media outlets. These events spotlight organizations in Memphis and other major cities, offering a unique opportunity to host a group of students for personalized tours and informative sessions.

Industry Expert Classroom Presentations

Serving in our “Classroom Bullpen” allows us to bring you in when a faculty member has requested a guest lecturer for a specific topic.  Let us know your area of expertise, and we’ll add you to the roster. 

Lunch and Launch

Looking to increase awareness of your organization and its recruiting needs in a more intimate setting? Consider hosting a Lunch and Launch session, which provides an opportunity to connect with a small group of students in a more personalized setting. These sessions allow employers to engage in meaningful conversations, build stronger relationships, and increase brand awareness on campus while highlighting career opportunities within their organization.
