2nd Terrain Biennal
Kickoff: August 23, 2015, sites throught Memphis
The city-wide exhibition is organized by Clough-Hanson Gallery at Rhodes College as part of a national effort by Terrain Exhibitions (Oak Park, IL) to bring art to the public, literally where they live. Nine artists from Memphis will join artists in cities like Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles to present temporary art installations in the front yards of their friends and neighbors. The installations will be on view 24 hours a day between August 23 and September 30, available to anyone who passes by. On August 23 between 4 and 7 pm, participating artists and organizers will be on hand at each site to discuss their projects
