The Barret Library at Rhodes has hundreds of thousands of works available to all students.
Many of the sources that you will need in order to complete your written assignments will include scholarly articles - but how do you find the articles you need? This is where a library "database" comes in...
What is a database?
A database is a collection of information, including academic journals, scholarly articles, dissertations, etc., which is often used for research and writing.
Why should I use databases?
Databases provide the highest quality information available, which is often not available on the internet. Further, databases usually save time and effort because they provide a comprehensive list of sources.
Where can I access databases at Rhodes?
You can access databases through the Library & IT InRhodes webpage under the "Databases" tab. Or, you can click here for databases
