The Office of Academic & Learning Resources provides workshops and peer programs focused on time management, organizational skills, and learning.

Peer Education Programs Experience

Our Peer Education Programs (PEP) Experience connects students with trained peer leaders who foster academic success, build confidence, and strengthen learning communities. Through collaborative learning, mentorship, and student-centered support, our peer educators help students develop effective study strategies, deepen their understanding of course content, and navigate the challenges of college life. These programs create welcoming environments where students can learn from and support one another while working toward their academic goals.

Peer Academic Coaching

Peer Academic Coaching (PAC) provides students with individualized support from trained peer coaches who help them develop the skills necessary for academic success. Through one-on-one coaching sessions or drop-in academic support hours, students can strengthen time management, organization, goal-setting, study strategies, motivation, and self-advocacy skills. PACs empower students to take ownership of their learning and build habits that support long-term achievement both inside and outside the classroom.

Supplemental Instruction

Supplemental Instruction (SI) is a peer-led academic support program designed to help students succeed in historically challenging courses. SI Leaders attend class, take notes, and facilitate interactive study sessions that encourage active learning, collaboration, and critical thinking. By working through course concepts with their peers, students gain a deeper understanding of the material, improve study techniques, and increase their confidence in the classroom.

Workshops/Events

We offer a variety of workshops to help students manage their academic and personal responsibilities.
