This is a diptych featuring Carroll Cloar's "Old Church" and "Group of People in a Woody Place, A Long Time Ago." Cloar was a member of Rhodes College's class of 1934. He is among the leading artists of the south. He was awarded a McDowell Traveling Fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship and has been the subject of exhibitions held in New York, Atlanta, Nashville, Little Rock, Memphis, and Albany, New York.
