Portrait of Louise Howry McRae (1922-2000), class of 1943, painted by Mary Sims dates from the 1980s. Sims taught art at Rhodes College in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Rhodes has a fine arts scholarship named after Ms. McRae for students majoring in the fine arts.
