Gifts on the Road

Two white horses pull a gold and red chariot which holds two adult and two children figures (also depicted in gold and red). One of the adult figures is offering something to three figures behind the horses. Plant and natural elements surround the figures and chariot.

Princess Maddi stubbornly decides to accompany her husband during his exile. The four family members set off away from their palace in the Sivi Kingdom towards the Himalayan jungle, with only a chariot and four horses. On the way, more brahmin priests from other kingdoms arrive to ask for his chariot and horses, and Vessantara happily gives them away.
