The King Searches for Vessantara

Jujaka, prompted by gods and spirits finds his way to King Sanjaya, and the Sivi Kingdom. After hearing about Vessantara’s plight in the forest from his grandchildren, King Sanjaya and his retinue begin to search for his son. Regretting his decision to banish Prince Vessantara, King Sanjaya resolves to coronate Vessantara as the new king.

Meanwhile, Jujaka is given all the food he wants. He winds up overeating due to greed and internally implodes (not pictured).
