Rhodes offers full-time faculty and staff the option to purchase Long-Term Care insurance and pay premiums through payroll deduction. Long-term care is the type of care received either at home or in a facility, when assistance is needed with Activities of Daily Living such as bathing, dressing, eating, etc.
Eligible employees may enroll during Open Enrollment after their first year of service. Family members of eligible employees are also eligible to enroll, subject to medical underwriting. Family members include the employee’s spouse, parents, grandparents, adult siblings, adult children and same sex domestic partners.
