Rhodes provides Long-term disability coverage for all full-time faculty and staff. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following the employee’s date of hire. The cost of this coverage is entirely paid for by the College.
An employee who is unable to perform the duties of their job may be eligible to receive monthly income after six months. Income under LTD is equal to 60% of regular monthly salary with a maximum benefit of $7,500 per month. LTD payments are offset by Social Security and Worker’s Compensation payments.
