Summer Service Fellowship

The Summer Service Fellowship is an intensive eight-week paid summer experience that challenges students to engage in significant community projects while receiving F11 credit. Students choose a non-profit within the greater Memphis community, and spend the summer working as an intern with that non-profit. Students are also engaged in social justice discussions and meetings on topics  such as education, healthcare, and poverty.

Summer Service Fellows apply through the Career Services office at the beginning of the spring semester, and if chosen are paid for their service! To see where past Summer Service Fellows have interned and learn more about their experiences, check out the videos below and our brochures for the past 3 years: 2022 Summer Service Fellowship Brochure, 2023 Summer Service Fellowship Brochure, 2024 Summer Service Fellowship Brochure.
