We are thrilled to have you join our vibrant community, and we look forward to supporting you throughout your academic career here. Starting college in a new country can be both exciting and overwhelming, and we are here to ensure that your transition goes as smoothly as possible. We are dedicated to providing you with the resources, support, and guidance you need to thrive during your time at Rhodes. Below is some information to get you started:
Orientation for Fall 2026
1.Please complete all onboarding information sent to you via email by our student transitions team. Once you receive your Rhodes Credentials you can log into Rhodes Map to complete any pre-orientation materials. As an international student, you are automatically enrolled in our health insurance policy starting July 1. You'll receive instructions on how to access your health insurance information & ID cards during the first week of July. Please wait to submit your Health Insurance onboarding Form until you have access to your ID cards. You can also ignore any Social Security Number documents in these onboarding materials- we will help you complete these upon your arrival. Please begin checking your Rhodes email daily for any important updates or information shared.
2. Your academic advisor will reach out to you via your Rhodes email to help you plan for Spring Course Registration.
3. Arrival to Campus and required International Student Orientation: August 10-13, 2026
- Please book your flight to arrive in Memphis on Monday, August 10, 2026 between 10am-10pm.
- New international students will move in to residence halls upon arrival on August 10th.
- Staff or faculty members from Rhodes will pick you up from the airport.
- Read the 2026-2027 Pre-Arrival Guide that was sent to your email by Katie Searle.
